Is the following language required to be added to, "The Housing Financial Discrimination Act of 1977 - FAIR LENDING NOTICE"??

"CALIFORNIA CIVIL RIGHTS ACT / CALIFORNIA EMPLOYMENT AND HOUSING ACT" California Law prohibits a lender from discriminating against an applicant for finanical assistance based on the applicant's sexual orientation, source of income, disability, familial status or age.

I am not finding this a requirement anywhere - but see that another bank has added this language to their Fair Lending Notice.

FROM SECTION 12955(e):
(e) For any person, bank, mortgage company or other financial
institution that provides financial assistance for the purchase, organization, or construction of any housing accommodation to discriminate against any person or group of persons because of the race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin,ancestry, familial status, source of income, disability, or genetic information in the terms, conditions, or privileges relating to the
obtaining or use of that financial assistance.
