A friend is starting a book club. We are having a hard time deciding what book we should start with. Her and I are avid readers so we have read a lot of the same stuff, but we don't know where to start. We all like historical fiction. Ideas?

I recommended the Great Gatsby for a friend when it was her turn to choose the book for her book club. They all loved it.

I have not. Which series should I start with? I see that he has a lot of books as best sellers. If I were you'd I'd go on Amazon and read some of the descriptions to see what perks your interest.  On another note, I'm off to the library today to pick up the first book for my virtual book club. It's an uber-girly book about finding a new best friend... and I'm frightened.
