For those banks with automated software such as Languard to scan PCs/servers and install required patches and upgrades, how often do you run the scans? I run them weekly. The regulators want me to share with the technology committee the results but it seems overkill to be forwarding the results weekly. Is monthly a better time frame to run the scans or keep the scans weekly but forward the reports only monthly?
Thanks

If this includes updating your virus software, you should be running this daily.

As far as reporting, you would only report whenever the meeting happens. Why would you forward information between meetings?
