Is anyone out there using any kind of Errors and Omissions Agreement in their consumer and commercial files?

Are there any Laser Pro users out there who are aware of a document in Laser Pro, other than the standard Errors and Omissions Agreement for real estate loans, that we can use for consumer and commercial accounts? Something that says the customer will work with us to correct any clerical errors in a file--doesn't make reference to transfer or conveyance, and does not require a notary?

There is an E&O contained in our notes...read through LaserPro's first before you assume you don't already have one! If an attorney closes the loan, they also have an E&O.

Thanks, RR Joker! I just reviewed Laser Pro's consumer and commercial notes and don't find any language similar to Errors and Omissions. Would you be willing to share the language used in your notes? If Laser Pro doesn't have one hard-coded on the note, maybe we can add it as a provision.

Any other suggestions? Anybody?

I'm sorry -- I didn't even think of that when I asked-- of course, it would be copyrighted.

Thanks!

If you really want the document, you can create one as an Exhibit in LaserPro and then just add it to all of your standard products.

Then it will automatically be included in the document set. You'll just have to come up with the language on your own, but you could probably do a search and find some standard ones.

Although I believe the language in the LaserPro document is the same as the language in the FNMA documents as well.

I think that's exactly what we'll do.

Thanks!
