Personally, I am now calling my mini-van "Winnebago" since that is what it seems to be at the gas pumps.

Birds of a feather - I'm 50 miles one-way. 87 octane is $2.05 to $2.13 in SW Michigan. I remain grateful for my 37 mpg Saturn.

We are at $1.94 in the upper midwest.

Has anyone tried the E85 gas? My cars won't accept it but here it is about $.30 cheaper per gallon. I hope these high gas prices cause people to use E85 even when prices drop. If enough people use it it will make the oil industry take note.

2.05 yesterday and I drive a Ford Explorer! UGH! Cost me $40 to fill it and I still had a 1/4 tank at the time.

I'm thankful I drive a fuel efficient Honda. My husband, on the other hand, drives a Ford Expedition and gets about 16 mpg. Ugh!

Locally - New Albany, IN - $2.05 for 87 octane.

Pedaling along a scenic highwa...
I'm loving my 40+ mpg Kawasaki. My 23 mpg VW and my 10 mpg musclecar are sitting this one out (until it rains, of course). We're over $2 for premium now and about 1.89 for 87. I need to get myself a Toyota Echo or something similar, I think.

Thanks Go 4 It !! Actually we are taking a cruise out of New Orleans, but plan to arrive in town a couple of days prior to do some sightseeing. We have never been to N.O., but i've heard from others that it's a great town to visit.

$2.099 in Wisconsin for regular unleaded at the majority of stations. Lines were 3 cars deep at a small station that was selling for $2.036

$1.89 in West Texas. My low fuel light came on this morning on the way to work. Not looking forward to filling up! It may be more than our daily limit for debit card transactions!

I filled up for $1.89 last week at a full service. Don't know what it did over the weekend.

Between the lines
This morning, the news showed the sign at one gas station
Regular-----$2.09
Premium-----$ARM
Super---------$LEG

That kinda says it all. My minivan does OK, but I need the space. Just bought graduating son a Chevy Blazer for school, not great gas mileage, but the road to his college is horrible. Thank goodness hubbie drives a Toyota.

Oh, and ya know, there is another advantage to living in a very small town ---- saving gas communting, 5 minutes to work.

Still hovering around $2.50 here in Calif.
...I put $20 in my Toyota and only got 8 gallons. This sucks!
Of course I just filled up last Weds, and then had to refill on Sun. I can't afford this much longer!

In Central Wisconsin we have been around $2.04 to $2.09 per gallon. My commute is 60 miles round trip and my husbands is 90 miles round trip for work. Needless to say that our cost for gas has gone through the roof this last year. But of course our wages didn't go through the roof. Well that is my gripe for now.

$2 to 2.05 a galleon here in Cincinnati last week, and back to $1.89 this morning... It'll be back up by the end of the week.

$1.89 to $2.05 in northern Wyoming, slightly higher in southern Montana. Stopped using my Expedition, started driving my son's Neon.

I filled up at $1.89 on Friday and this morning I drove in and found it to be $2.06 almost everywhere. I wish I hadn't bought a full size truck and kept my Geo Metro from college!!

Look at the bright side- it's still cheaper than ice cream.

Right Jac - but a gallon of ice cream would last me 2 weeks.

I don't understand your anger. It's an offer to sell - if you don't want to buy it, don't buy it!
