My German grandfather was adopted by an Irish family, so I claim that heritage. I've got my green shirt on, and could go for some corned beef 'n cabbage any time!

I'm way ahead of you... I did an Irish Car Bomb and drank a Guinness or 3 on Saturday afternoon after I took a boat ride on the Chicago River (dyed green!) - cool architectural tour with heavy focus on the Irish architects and Irish folklore and haunted locations. Very cool day.

My grandmother (born in Ireland) boiled everything she made. My dad always says Irish food is very holy food, cuz ya boil the He*( out of it!
