I know that Regulation C is clear when it requires banks to retain a copy of its submitted HMDA-LAR for at least three years. What happens if, as an institution of under $250 million, we are examined for compliance every 4 years and they ask for the LAR since the previous exam? What if we destroyed it per Regulation C? I'm thinking we are fine. Thank you.
