I walked in the feed and gun store at lunch today. There is a man with a foreign accent at the counter asking my friend working behind the counter a question. There was a box of pig ears sitting on the counter. He asked her...what do you do, cook them first? He had no idea they were dog treats. He thought they were for human consumption. He went on to explain different countries and their odd food choices...he just thought that was one of ours!

In college, I worked a few times at a hog-kill plant south of campus. One night, some of the workers gave us pigs ears flash fried. Delicious pink-white meat inside, nice crispy outside. Mmmm.

I really do love celery. Raw or juiced. It's just earthy and good. Sort of like beets. But unlike beets, if you eat/drink a lot, it won't change the color of things and make you think you're bleeding internally. Which is a good thing.
