Does anyone know what the retention requirements are for SAFE Act materials like the training records, MLO applications and background checks, etc.?

I don't recall seeing a retention requirement. My advice would be to keep your initial information until your first exam. Then keep everything from that point forward from exam to exam.

Anyone have exam experience they can share? What regulators are looking for? Is anyone retaining the confirmation email after registering, renewing, updating a record on the NMLS?
