We have documentation from seminars for IN Account Administration we have attended stating NO POD on DBA accounts. Is this a State law where it is not allowed? I understand the bank is not the one who monitors accounts, but when it is a Sole Prop (DBA) and the spouse is an authorized signer, the owner dies and nothing can be done for 45 days, payroll does not get done. Can we put a POD on an account that only has one authorized signer (spouse) to help in these type of situations?
