I started to post this in the Joke thread, because these really are joke worthy...but thought it might be a good themed thread by itself...contribute away!

On my favorite Rock Station this morning...Dumb Criminal Stories.

This one guy robbed a Donut Shop. He wore a mask and used a knife as a weapon. He wasn't caught because he couldn't be identified. Next week, he did it again. This time, somehow (I missed what changed) he got caught.

He was the owner of said donut shop. Stupid...just so stupid.

Next guy burgled a home. He was caught because, similiar to Hanzel and Gretel, he left footprints in the snow...all the way home.

Guy serves some time and gets to wear ankle monitor upon release. Decides to burgle another home. WEARING HIS GPS MONITOR. Guess what...yeah...back in the slammer.

Dumb...meet dumber.

The BOL security page always has a few good ones. I sometimes use them in training to add a little levity.

Right in my home town a local man robbed the Kmart for fishing supplies and the fishing line got caught on something as the store security guy just followed the line out to the car where the guy was sitting looking over his ill gotten gains

Nobody tried to "tackle" him on his way out of the store?

In college I worked in a hunting/fishing/outdoor sports store. You guys are pringing me back. Bobby, you are stretching with carppy when you could have just used the word crappie . That is a fish. I am not joking.

I already used "crappie".

And I refuse to scale back!

Hook, line and sinker...crappie and carppy are two different fishy's.

I cannot tell you how often on TV I see people using spinning reels the wrong way. A fishing pole is made to bend a particular direction and is very brittle the when bent the wrong way. Sometimes on TV I see people fishing with spinning reels (the open face type of reel that requires the bail to be open to cast), actually on top. Spinning reels are made to be thrown and used with the eyelets on the bottom and the reel hanging below the rod. Just something I always notice. Stupid actors obviously don't understand fishing.

We should dolphinitely scale back on the fish puns and get back to story. What harpooned next?

In the Cooler, "carp" = "[censored]". And GD had just used crappie, so I thought re-using it so soon would be out of line.
