I think we still have to give this notice but I wanted to double check.

We have a loan our initial determination said the property was in X prior to closing of 5-1-14. We receive updated cert on 5-8-14 stating property now in AE. We received proof of flood insurance for AE from borrower's agent on 5-1-14. Obviously they knew something our flood company didn't!

We didn't send the flood notice to the borrower from the 5-8-14 determination because the borrower already had flood insurance (that was the explanation I was given). I'm thinking we still should have. Am I wrong?

No. You have a violation.

Just curious. Was there map change between your original determination and the closing date?
