sorry, there are 2 lines, you don't sit at the junction to see which opens first, you pick a line and get in it...sometimes it goes faster, sometimes it doesn't...but blocking everyone behind you is definitely not an option

There is 1 line that forks at the very end into 2 lines...if you're the 3rd car in line, you stop at the fork...what you don't do is pass all the other cars in line to get into the line that opens up.

If there's any 'blocking' going on, it's the cars at the ordering booth that take 18 minutes to place their order.

I think one of the McD's near me with the two lanes has the lane split just before the fork into two lanes

Around here, many of us that drive super long trucks bypass the regular intrance and hit the outside line
FROM the outside, not from the 'alley'.

But what made me leave one the other day was this:

Both lines were full...I left enough room between the next car and mine for through traffic to get to one of the exits. Someone whips in front of me...rides next to the last car in line, barely missing them to push their way into the outside line.

I think it's THE. FIRST. TIME i've EVER seen someone 'break in line' in a vehicle.

I left and went next door to a different line. I don't know that I could have controlled myself had the opportunity arisen for me to ram their arse for what they did.

it's not like McD's are consistent or anything

one will freely give out extra bbq sauce for the 20 piece nuggets while the next one will hold on to them like they're some kind of precious metal

Ach! Those officious sauce-deprivers! Can't tell you how mad it makes me to spend $25 for meals for multiple people then hear "Well if you want an extra sauce I'll have to charge you 50 cents. We charge for that," acting as though I asked her to throw in a couple of McFlurries.

Taco Bell is just the opposite. They'll give me six hot sauces for every taco.

For those doing the math that comes out to about sixty hot sauces when I'm really hungry

Or at Mcdonald's...they're fine with giving me 2 sauces with a 5 piece mcnuggets........but with a 20 piece mcnugget, you're suddenly supposed to be satisified still with just 2 (maybe 3 if they're feeling generous). Start asking for sauces 4, 5, or 6 and they look at you like it's an armed robbery attempt.

Dont feel bad Peepers. Taco Bell had a .25 taco day here once. I went in with a $10 bill and left with a bag-o-tacos and no change......and about a gozillion hot sauce packets!
Those plain tacos are like eating potato chips. Once you start you have to eat the whole bag!
