The bank is considering an inactivity fee for debit cards. I've been searching trying to find the place in Louisiana law that discusses prohibited or allowable deposit fees. So far, I can only find loan stuff. Can anyone point me someplace?

Do you mean if a customer hasn't used his/her debit card in X amount of time, you'd charge them a fee?

To my knowledge, there are no state laws that prohibit fees on deposit accounts. Loans, yes, but not deposits.
