Yikes, there are some very geographical foods listed that I have never even heard of! For me the worst is liver and steak tartare.

I bake mine in the oven, it gets a little brown on top, and is never gray. Just cook it low and slow, covered (I use a glass topped roasting pan) with about a cup of water in the bottom.

Yes. Saw a restaurant on TV once that said their special was "Tuesday Tacos With No Cilantro Because Cilantro is Terrible." But maybe they ripped that off of Bob's Burgers cartoon which featured "Say It Ain’t Cilantro Burger (Doesn’t come with cilantro … Because cilantro is terrible)."

Regarding cilantro, there's something in our genetic makeup that determines whether we like it or not. Some people love it, and some think it tastes like soap or ??

I think it's funny/odd that the average person likes and eats plenty of chicken eggs. But watch an Australian aborigine eat a crocodile egg and we think it's the grossest thing ever. Lobster is another example...delicacy. But look at a lobster...it's an aquatic cockroach.
