The bank is looking into giving out gifts at a local event. The gifts include tote bags, sunglasses, stadium cups, etc. The bank's name will be on these items is the member FDIC needed or just recommended? I do not think I need the Equal Housing logo since we are saying anything about lending.

I recommend using the Member FDIC in a font that is barely readable. The jury is out on whether it's required, though.

I would vote that it is not required, but what is the harm?

*Vote based on a horrible exam where examiners were looking for reasons to shut the bank down and they could not have cared less about the water bottles, coffee cups, and pens emblazoned with the bank logo.

If it fits, add it.
