Well, most of my hand tools are between 30 and 80 years old. I shave (most days) with an antique Solingen straight razor. And I still have the seiko watch that I received for graduation from high school. Oh, and one of the knees I use is 57 years old, the other one is newer.

I can do 57-year-old knees, myself. It's the 57-year-old brain that really ought to be taken out of use.

Yes to the math expert, I got it brand spanking new in May f 1975 and it still works! Ed, of course they did knees 57 years ago! It just took the blacksmith a while to make it!

I also graduated high school in May of '75. See now, You shouldnt a told that. Cuz right up to then everbody thought you was just real edumacated.

Actually he did make wine. Every year they would get crates and crates of grapes and make wine. In the 80's we went into their wine cellar (my nonna lived there) and took out some vintage stuff. It was so strong, it was like brandy, and all the tannins and sediment stuck to the bottle so it was this beautiful gold color after we decanted it. They were from 1941 and 42.

I only recently switched from the alarm clock I had in high school (grad 1992) to using the alarm on my phone. Also, as much as I do depend on my smart phone I still use the old paper calendar book to keep all my appointments. It's funny what we cling to

old 1990 Honda Accord with 238,000 miles. Only has 1st and 2nd gears working but it will not die so it works good for around town running.
