Marketing is wanting to give a gift to anyone that comes and talks to a lender about a loan. They were wondering if there were any limits on this? Dollar wise or any other limits. The customer would not need to close the loan or do an application, just come and speak to a lender.

Their first suggestion would be to do a fleece blanket since fall/winter are coming.

Any thoughts/concerns on doing this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

As I have said before, the bank is free to give away shareholder's money in any way they see fit. Giving money to the actual loan customer or loan potential customer is never an issue. RESPA concerns involve third parties. $600 or over would require a 1099MISC.
