Kenmore from Sears and we have had it for over 10 years and yes I love it. I wanted simple, so it has the icemaker and the water dispenser. Hoping it lasts another 10 years.

I have a Kenmore from Sears that is 20 years old. Water and ice maker (dispenses cubes or crushed). I'm hoping it lasts another 20 years!

always Kenmore. Got a French door top with drawer freezer just because I wanted to be able to put bigger items in. Moved the 'old' Kenmore into the garage where it still handles the over flow. Whirlpool makes Kenmore so you know you're getting quality. have the same... do i love it? it's a freaking refrigerator, there is no love here.

I had a Kenmore at my old house and only had to have the icemaker/water serviced once.
I really don't know what we have right now.

They are all to small in the freezer section so what is the difference? Agreed!! I've got 2 refrigerators and 2 deep freezers and if it wasn't for the deep freezers I wouldn't have room to freeze anything!

They do have product out that, if you have room, is the ultimate...it's either a fridge OR a freezer...you can put two together with a reverse handle and have a big one of each side-by-side! this is called Sub-Zero, they have been out for years...just be ready to drop about $10g for it

I have a Fridgedare that I really like. Simple. Have a separate Upright freeze so I don't really worry about freezer space. For you all who have kenmore - you must live where the repair folks are near by. Ours are all in a different town and VERY inconvenient. After my last experience with SEARS there will be NOTHING purchased from that store.

<<< AND my BIGGER complaint is that they still don't have a self-cleaning model. When my daughter's boyfriend comes over, it is like a self-cleaning model for the refrigerator.

Have the Samsung, "French" style. It was a Model End Clearance at Lowes, so got a realy good deal on it.
Freezer on bottom, ice maker, Cubed or Crushed ice at teh door, and water. The chest freezer is nice, but I don't feel like I have the room inside the fridge like the good old Kenmore, with freezer on top. More stuff goes in the doors.
For the money, I think the "Old Fasahion" freezer on top is good, and saves you lots of money.

Do a little checking on Consumer Reports - Kenmore's are made by different companies in different model years. Usually good, though!
I have a Whirlpool from Sears. I've been very happy with it.

We're just here to do the superbowl shuffle... Some bears trivia: Stefan Govan Humphries (born January 20, 1962) is a former American football offensive lineman in the National Football League. He played five seasons for the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos. He attended the University of Michigan. Humphries was a part of the 1985 Bears that won Super Bowl XX. He was also a member of the "Shuffling Crew" in the video The Super Bowl Shuffle. After a career in football, he attended University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic. He is currently the medical director for Renown Rehabilitation Hospital in Reno, Nevada. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stefan_Humphries

Whirlpool Gold for me. I bought a Samsung for this new house and I really don't like the water dispenser or the ice dispenser (it always makes a mess on the front of the fridge and floor).
Don't buy anything with blue displays (very hard to read at any distance compared to green, etc)

Thanks everyone....I have an Amana...but it is about 20-25 years old I think....I have an upright freezer. Besides the freezer on any frig is useless because of the size as far as I'm concerned...I'd really like to get the new fancy double door frig, drawer on the bottom, with drawer inside the drawer...but I don't have a spot big enough unless I cut cabinets or breakdown walls...neither of which I'm ready to do..
Thanks for the input....Oh and really the football player...nah, I'll pass....I have enough people eating me out of house and home....

I have a 10 yr old Maytag side by side, basic model with ice/water in the door. Hasn't needed any attention to date, hoping it stays that way!

We bought a GE French door style with the freezer on the bottom two years ago. Right before the one year warranty expired, the condensor on the freezer went out. It was replaced at no charge. A couple of months later, we had to shell out $200 to have the ice maker replaced.
I love the refridgerator part. And I love the freezer on bottom. However, the ice maker does not make very much ice at all. Luckily we have my husbands 25 year old Kenmore in the basement that puts out a lot of ice.
