I have my spider under glass ornery vacuum sealed so that it can be passed from generation to generation. And my bacon onery too!

On another note::: YAY FOR ORNIE EXCHANGES!! SO MUCH FUN..I saw my fuzzy snow man yesterday and I thought about my Buddy and how I'll soon be breaking out my things again!

AND..I've already put some 'fun' in motion...but only one other person KNOWS my little secret!

Just have to get my flamingo in the mail before our new social media policy hits the press.... (Insert sniffles.)

Definitely do not be afraid. Just join in the fun! This is the one place on BOL where you needn't be afraid of getting shouted down or picked on. We truly let our hair down (those of use that have it *cough BB1 cough*) and get goofy all in the Spirit of Christmas.

Welcome new Ornamenteers!

Last year was my first year and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have to admit, I was a little leary about a few folks and what they might send, but I am thinking it was more talk than action (I hope) I loved it, it was great fun getting my package together for my buddy, and great fun receiving mine!!! Don't be afraid!!! It makes for a nice retreat from compliance!!

Freak is completely serious. He will send you glitterfied dead things. You saw the picture of Lizzie. Just hope he doesn't get your name.....

Um...there are several of us that were sad we didn't get Lizzie.

Last year was my newbie year, too....and I survived. You know what the best part was? (Other than the obvious distraction and getting to know my fellow BOLers a bit better.) The best part was that a box came in the mail for me! I didn't pay for, order it, hint around for it, know what was in it or anything. It was that excitement of the season that I lost some decades ago. I was opening a box addressed to me not knowing what alive, dead, edible or not could be in it!

Don't get me wrong. I would have liked to have gotten Lizzie. BUT I do not EVER want a glitterfied spider. I can handle dead reptiles, but not dead bugs or arachnids. Based on many of his posts, he specializes in things with more than 4 legs.

One caveat would be if he ornified a grasshopper, butterfly, or praying mantis...AND put a warning sticker on the box so I wouldn't jump when I opened it. (hint, hint, Freak)

Oh my, I do not think edible ornaments are legal in my sate.

Freak was my ornabuddy last year. I was laughing hysterically while I opened my box...and not in a good way. I just had to keep reminding myself...they're not alive, they're not alive.

I would LOVE to be Freak's buddy.

ETA: It might even incent me to put up a TREE! Or at least decorate my gigantic hornet's nest!
