You need to try Taco Casa tacos (i'm sure they're not located in your neck of the world though). They'll make you forget Taco Bell tacos exist.

The Royals need to win so we can stop hearing about the SF dynasty.

Well, the Royals battled until their final batter; still had a chance to win or at least tie in the 9th inning.

Too much Madison Bumgarner. The guy had a freaking unbelievable World Series. As much as baseball is a team game, without him the Giants were toast.

On to 2015!

I thought Alex Gordon should have been waved on from third on his hit in the ninth.....i thought it was worth more of a shot than the prospect of your next guy getting a hit.

Catchers and pitchers report to Spring training on Feb 20. There's always next year.

If it had been Cain or Dyson, probably. Don't think Gordon has enough speed.

I agree. Baumgartner was too hard to hit, I wouldl've placed my money on running in and hopefully they would have dropped the ball again. crazy

Either way it was a really exciting series and post season for that matter.

Oh, and it was like the 4th of July in my neighborhood last night. Fireworks everywhere!

SF, i agree that the chances of him making it weren't great...i'd say maybe 30% (the way i saw it, the shortstop took the relay maybe 35 feet from the infield dirt right as Gordon was hitting 3rd), but i think you force the throw, catch, and tag there. I think the chances of following that up with another hit off of him was way less than 30%. Just my opinion. BTW...i think Cain or Dyson would have had a fairly easy (error-aided) inside the parker there.

I will probably never get to see my Royals in the WS again so I tried to enjoy every minute of it. I took that attitude the entire playoffs and was pleasantly surprised with how far they made it. To be honest I never thought I would even get to see them make the playoffs again.

It was a great WS and they fell just short. But hats off to a gritty performance.
