The Swamp
1) We were fogged in
2) I have a wall of trees (swamp) covering the Western horizon.

So...Nope!

OOOOOOklahoma
I got up and saw it this morning. It was really clear here so I got the boys up out of bed and showed them. One thought it was cool and the other couldn't care less. I thought it was beautiful though.

My husband came in this morning when I was getting ready to get into the shower (about 5:30 CST) and told me to come outside. I did pick up my glasses because I knew he wanted me to see something. He showed me the eclipse/blood moon. I've never seen anything like that before and it was very cool. We were lucky to be able to see it since we had severe storms during the night.

you went outside naked to see the lunar eclipse? because that would allow your neighbors to see a full moon and Uranus! how celestial!

I saw it this morning, on the westward drive to the trail, and during most of my run, and the drive to work. Perfectly clear here, great view!

Thanks Happy. Although I did not mention my state of dress - I did put on a robe prior to stepping onto the patio. AND my neighbors are not up at 5:30 in the morning.

5:30 in the morning is entirely too early to see so much celestial-ity about!

The Y is near the when, where, what and who.

If you were on the moon, you would have seen a solar eclipse.

Harry Caray: Hey! Now Ken, we all know that the moon is not made of green cheese.

Ken Waller: Yes, that's true Harry.

Harry Caray: But what if it were made of barbeque spare ribs, would you eat it then?

Ken Waller: What?

Harry Caray: I know I would. Heck! I'd have seconds and then polish it off with a tall cool Budweiser. - - - I would do it. Would you?

Ken Waller: I'm confused.

Harry Caray: It's a simple question Dr, would you eat the moon if it were made of ribs?

Ken Waller: I don't know how to answer that.

Harry Caray: It's not rocket science, just say yes and we'll move on.

Ken Waller: Yes.
