We are due for an exam shortly. I know that our wire transfer policy needs some polishing. I was wondering if anyone out there could help me in letting me know some areas that NEED to be addressed in a wire transfer policy. Thank you for your help.

In our last exam we were sited for staff having access to fed wire as well as account maintenance,segration of duties is key in this area and needs to spelled out in the procedures. Also, we needed to set staff limits on authorization and specify actions taken in special circumstances where wires are sent outside an authorized limit.
