Idiots. Most rednecks I know aren't the offensive ones, just hard working country types. Why the idiots comment? Not entirely sure...I think it was the thought of them running around yelling YEE YEE all the way home.  It just sounds plain silly. Yee Ha is fine...YEE YEE? I guess I'd have to hear it first, but it just doesn't gee haw well with me.  And in South Georgia at least...there is a big difference between a Good Ole' Country Boy and a Redneck.  Although I've referred to myself (at times) as a Redneck Country Girl.

I was in the supermarket Saturday, and in the checkout area they had a display of Peeps--in bags--chocolate flavor, sour watermelon, and one more that I can't remember. I kinda wanted to try them, but they were a tad expensive--$3.79 per bag. Too much for my pocketbook!

We're having yet another food day for a co-worker birthday in my department so I opted for something healthier. I bought cherry tomatoes, mozzarella pearls (little marble sized bites) and some Italian seasoning. I mixed the seasoning with a touch of garlic powder and rolled the mini cheese balls in the mixture. I cut the tomatoes in half and layered on a toothpick: top half of tomato, cheese ball, bottom half of tomato. They are so cute and refreshing too! ::maybe this should go in the Quirks thread under my cute food addiction :: That would be great for weight loss. I would never eat ti.
