Pulling people out of the ditc...
If you have a personalized license plate, you are a terrible driver

if you drive a prius, you are a terrible driver

no, you really aren't doing a good job putting on your makeup, smoking, eating a biscuit, and talking on the phone all at the same time

Hey - I take offense! I drive a Prius and have never been accused of being a terrible driver. No vanity plate, though.

Round here it's BMW and VW drivers that are the worst.

My two favorites are still;

1. wondering how the driver of the manual transmission car ahead of me at the stop light intends to make his left turn while holding his cell phone.

2. (sort of similar) the tractor trailer driver at a stop light eating soup with a spoon (not drinking it out of the container).

Seems like around here no one knows how to keep a vehicle between the yellow divider line and the white line.

Round here the worst drivers are the ones that either drive trucks or cars.......

Way, way south.
Where I live tourist season started this week, and already yesterday there were 3 fairly serious accidents (totalled vehicles, possibly serious injuries), which is just the start of the many, many accidents that are to come.

For some reason, the folks from up north just cannot seem to properly and safely operate a motor vehicle after they pass the FL-GA line.

The raod I live did not use to have lines, it was a tar and chipped road. Last year they black topped the raod and put a double yellow line down the middle. Don't know why they bothered, NO ONE pays any attention to it, especially in blind turns and hills. mad I have been ran off the road 5 times this year from idiots who think they are the only one on the road.

Around here, everyone who drives slower than I do is a nitwit and everyone who drives faster than I do is an idiot.

^^ Wait? You mean to tell me there are people that drive faster than Texans? Around here if I'm driving 78 in a 75 and another car blows past me in the right lane, it's got Texas plates!

There is a perceived need for speed here in Texas with lots of long stretches of road between driver and destination. Back in the daft days of 55 mph speed limits one found himself gnawing on the steering wheel in distracted frustration.

Around here, no one believes in turn signals. Blew my mind when I moved. Considering test driving cars at the dealerships in the area to see if they are even installed.

Here's it's pickups driven by guys in the home building business. We have constant new construction in my subdivision, and these guys never pay attention to pedestrians or other vehicles. Always on the phone (illegally) and thinking about work and not about driving.

Totally agree with this. Guys in white work vans are the scourge of traffic rule compliance.

Ah-the biannual whine about other drivers and commuting thread! Excellent-here are a few:

1) anyone from Massachusetts;
2) old drivers;
3) young drivers;
4) all other drivers.
5) state DOT signs that tell you to pay attention to the road.
6) Police cruiser lights, particularly at night-blinding.

And school buses. A school bus can stretch my mile and a quarter commute into a seven minute nightmare.
