Did anyone receive an email from BSA efiling titled "New Alert"? In this day and age of cyberfraud, I trust nothing. Thank you.

As of 10:55 a.m. EST today, there's nothing on FinCEN's website suggesting that there's a FinCEN alert out today.

However, when you login to the e-filing system and go to the "alerts" page, there are no alerts.

I have an alert with the subject line "Test".

I received the alert also. It seemed to be some sort of test form.

I received the same thing and I pulled it up and it said "test"

^^Me too. There was a form that looked a lot like an acknowledgement form, but it only said "test."

I'm just trying to imagine what they'd use it for...

This was the reply I got when I emailed the helpdesk.

Yes, this email was sent from our agency, but it was inadvertently sent. Please disregard the email, it was sent by mistake during a testing cycle.
