HBO Will Make Asimov's Foundation...

Now this is an ambitious project. It will be interesting to see if a story this complicated can be pulled off. I don't think anyone's tackled something like this since adapting Frank Herbert's Dune. Although, Lord of the Rings is also very complicated and that kind of worked out OK.

That will be something to see.

HBO usually does a good job with its series. I'll keep my eye on this one.

sorry to read that you've lost an eye...can i inquire what caused you to lose it? industrial accident? Red Ryder BB gun? some other reason?

Typically when I watch for something, I close one eye and focus all my attention on the one I have left open. If you feel watching with both eyes is better, I'll try that.

Love the Foundation series. So much detail that it will have to be pretty ambitious i.e. a lot of episodes if they plan on going through all the books in the series.

Can't wait to see how they handle The Mule. My favorite topic is the search for planet Earth.
