I was wondering if anyone who had plastic surgeons as customers are accustomed to seeing large cash deposits into the business account. The explanation we have received is that the cash comes from their customers who pay cash for plastic surgery procedures since it is not covered by insurance. They pay cash as opposed to credit cards because of the fees. They pay cash as opposed to checks because they have to pay in advance and wait until the check clears. If you do see large cash deposits, what are the typical dollar amounts?

I do see more cash in Plastic Surgeons accounts..
Usually under $10,000.
But I have had the occasional $15,000.

We have a couple accounts and yes we see cash. I've been told that some people don't want to write checks for privacy reasons. The endorsement would indicate they went to a plastic surgeon.

We usually see a spike in activity as spring break. Strange, but true.

We too have plastic surgeons and do see a handful of cash deposits that once in a while exceed $10,000.
