Dee Oh Gee yes I like the name D-O-G for a dog

I also like Cee Ay Tee for a cat.

Or you can use Dominus or Domina (male or female) which is Latin for master; because we all know the dogs are the real masters in the relationship. Ok going back to my corner now.

We tend to go this route, too. Our first pug was Ebenezer, and we called him Neezie. Our other four have been rescues so we "kept" their original names, but the names have always evolved into something else. Currently, one of our two is named Gunner but he is known as, among other things, Gunnie.

Is that why your bride's name is MonkEE?
