Haven't many of the Presidents in the last 100 years been left handed? I thought we were smarter. Guess that doesn't translate into being paid what we are worth!!!!!

I always thought it was interesting that all three presidential candidates (Bush Senior, Clinton the male and Ross Perot) are all left handed. I think that was the 1992 race.

My mom says the nuns used to slap her left hand with a ruler until she finally learned to write with her right hand. I guess they didn't think about genetics back then cause she passed the sinister writing on to me.

As for getting paid less, I resemble that remark!! Although I always attributed that to being in banking and not to my left-handiness.

My dad had the same situation. He was born left handed and the school forced him to be right handed. Told him, it is a right handed world.

Amazingly he has the neatest writing for a man. It may be his engineering, draft work experience, but he always has had the finest penmanship.

I'm the same as MyBrainHurts; I write lefty and play sports righty for some reason. Seems that for the more intricate actions I use my left hand. Weird.

I went to Catholic School and never got "the stick" for being a lefty. Maybe the nuns and teachers at my school were a little more accepting than those older and stricter nuns/teachers.

My husband is right handed; myself and our two kids are left-handed and yes pancakes for dinner are the bomb!

Wife and I are right-handed, as are all six daughters.

I am right-handed, but I use my left hand for my mouse. That way I can have my right hand free to write or use the 10-key. Very efficient.

My mother is a lefty as well as my son-in-law and one grandson. I use my right to eat (most of the time) and write, but left to paint, open jars, shoot a gun, play cornhole and horse shoes.
