I need some help with Rate Spreads, with respect as to when you use the rate spread and when you do not.

Am I correct in not using a rate spread when the loan is to a business entity when the property is for rental, etc?
I have not been using the rate spread on these. These are written up on commercial paper and do not have APR's

How about a loan to an individual, written on consumer paper with APR calculations, where the property is being used for rental, etc.? Do I use the Rate Spread information on this or do I show as N/A because the property is being rented out?

I really dislike this Rate Spread Stuff!!!

Thanks

Business purpose loans and denied/withdrawn applications: enter NA for the rate spread.

GIR page A9: If the loan is not subject ot Regulation Z, or is a home improvement loan that is not dwelling-secured , or is a loan you purchased, use NA.
