We had an application that was denied due to excessive obligations in relation to income. If it was a joint application do we need to specify the reasons to both the borrower and co borrower? Can we send the AAN to both of them separately and just list the reason for denial on the primary applicant only?

The reason or reasons for denial on a joint credit application are the same for both applicants. How can you have an excessive obligation reason only on the primary applicant when you have to combine income and debts?
