My sister is bringing a brisket to my house and I am trying to decide what sides and appetizers to make to go with it. Anyone planning on making anything fun Sunday's big game?

We're going out to the same bar we've gone to for the last three Super Bowls. We'll be drinking Pacifico beer and tequila, and eating tacos and guacamole. One year they had fresh-caught langostinos. Did I mention the bar is in Mexico?

Last year I made this, half were fried and the other half baked. This year I'm heading downtown to see Super Bowl Central and will probably eat my weight in food truck goodies. nom nom!

Oh, and we take a large loaf of Italian bread, split in half,
add ham salami and pepperoni and provolone cheese. Then slice into 2 inch sandwiches. Place bowls of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickle slices and peppers. Put out mustard, mayonnaise and bottle of Italian dressing for topping.

That is always a big hit for parties.

Airplane snacks until it lands in Las Vegas.

Anyone coming up with some good ideas? It is getting near lunch time and I am hungry.

I saw a pic on FB or Pinterest with bread or rolls cooked around some spinach artichoke dip. Haven't looked up the recipe yet but that's probably gonna happen. Maybe some pizza pull apart bread. Someone had a really yummy fruit dip in my NYE thread I will probably make too.
