Does a non-borrower need to be listed on the HUD? I found some older threads from 2012 that said no, just wanting to see if this might have changed?

Thank you.

The title company put the name of a non-borrower in Box D of the HUD. This person is named on the deed, but is not a borrower listed on the loan.

Box D is for the name and address of the borrower(s).

I am not sure what part of the instructions the Title Company does not understand:

Sections D and E. Fill in the names and current mailing addresses and zip codes of the Borrower and the Seller. Where there is more than one Borrower or Seller, the name and address of each one is required. Use a supplementary page if needed to list multiple Borrowers or Sellers.

I do not see a mention of a non-borrower.
