When completing the narrative on a corrective SAR, do we just state what is being corrected or do we also put the original narrative there too?

Thank you.

From page 111 of the September, 2014 version of the SAR instructions:

If this report is a corrected or amended report, complete the report in its entirety with whatever corrections or amendments were required. Describe the corrections or amendments at the beginning of the narrative.

After you have done that just give them the narrative consistent with the information you are reporting now. It's possible that you file a corrected SAR that has different information in a couple text boxes, but no changes in the narrative. It's possible that your narrative could change dramatically from the first version. Either way, they only want one narrative per SAR. If they want to see the first one, you have given them the DCN and they can look it up.
