Do you require customer's signature to reverse a Stop Payment Authorization Request? Customer request for an item to be paid which was previously on a stop payment request. Just looking for any precaution that may result in a potential dispute from a verbal reversal of request.

I would get it in writing and with a signature just to cover your assets.

if they signed a piece of paper to put it in place, have them sign one to remove it...
