we are open...one of the few banks in our market to be open, and last federal holiday we do not observe (start observing Columbus Day this year). most of our customers assume we are closed as everyone else is, so a slow day...and since Fed is closed, no ACH or Wire processing occurs...

Technically a day off for audit but I will be working and taking a floating holiday later in the year. That's what I did for MLK day - but my floater is getting used this Friday, my daughter is getting her wisdom teeth out.  Oh, and we're closed this Monday.

They took Presidents day and Columbus Day away from us this year, but did not give us a floater in exchange. Oh Happy Day!

Our July 4th holiday will be on Saturday - the 4th - so the majority of us lose out on that this year.
