This is not a banking question. How can you tell if your tax return got pulled for a deeper review? I filed the same night as my parents and brother and the have already received their refund. When I check the status tool, it says my return is still being processed.

Not sure how to tell about if the return got pulled for review but our tax person told us it would take about 2 weeks for the refund to process.

I filed my son's last week (Thursday I think) and it is still coming up "being processed - except your refund within 21 days of your filing date". His is simple - no itemized deductions but he gets the EIC.

You might just have more information to verify than the other parties.
