oh....nevermind! I didn't get an edit report until today from my Monday submission.

I just received the confirmation from HMDAhelp receiving my edit report responses that I had to resubmit after getting the "2 day late" notice. I resubmitted this morning so maybe they are working through the backlog.

I submitted on 2/20 and still have not received my edit report. I have even emailed with "Outstanding Edit Report" and still no response. Starting to get worried.

I also received a "2 day overdue" email today. I faxed my edit sheet complete with responses on the 20th as well.

Sounds like there might be an issue with submissions made on the 20th of this month.

I am waiting for two banks to give final go ahead. This has been exhausting. Thank goodness it is Friday.

Seems interesting that (I believe) every issue has the 20th tied to it.

I got the "your response is past due" email this morning. I replied with my first two emails attached.

We STILL have not received our edit report or any response from HMDAhelp after repeated requests. Our submission was on the 20th. Is anyone out there still waiting to get an edit report from submissions two weeks ago?

Finally faxed the edit report to them today...now we'll see if we get anything from THAT! How frustrating!!

There was information in the CRA/HMDA reporter newsletter about hmdahelp@frb.gov not accepting secured emails - could that be part of the issue for those of you who haven't received your confirmations?

I faxed mine yesterday morning after 4 email attempts did not get any response.

Still no response from the fax, either.

We faxed in our edit report and then received the notice that we were 2 days late and a confirmation that our edits had been accepted on the same day. Talk about confusing this year - I was training someone on the process and can't even begin to explain why we received a 2 day late notice about 4 days after we faxed in the edit report. You have to love HMDA or you might go crazy.

Nope...sent plain ole email.

I sent edit report on Monday and hadn't heard anything back as of yesterday. :sigh: HMDAhelpless strikes again!

I got 4 emails Friday at 6:30 that read:

RE: Edit Report Confirmed 5716-3-5 (B)

Thank you for e-mailing your edit report response. It has been tracked in our system as received/complete.

We apologize for the delayed response as we are experiencing a backlog of edit report responses.

I wonder if the fax finally got their attention or if somebody finally got around to looking at emails from all the banks to whom they'd sent late notices?

Came to BOL today hoping to find a thread like this haha! We submitted our LAR on the 23rd - received our Edit Report within minutes and sent our response back the same day. Never received a confirmation so resent our response again on the 2nd. Just received our 2 days overdue notice at 10:00 pm on the 6th. Resent our response a third time this morning.

Was going to fax it later today if we hadn't received confirmation yet but think we'll hold off and let them work through their backlog! Frustrating but glad to know we're not the only one!

We got our's, too, Becca...after the faxed one went thru.

We sent in our edits and the Fed sent back a response that the explanations were insufficient. We sent in again.. no confirmation, but received a couple of days later a 2 day overdue notice. We have not to date received a confirmation that they received our last edit report. Worried! Anyone else in this situation? Any suggestions on what to do?

We finally got ours Friday evening after faxing it as well... after no response when we emailed it multiple times.

I have a bank that submitted, got the "we got it" email; got the edits report and responded. Now they have gotten the Late notice. They have emailed several times, but they are not getting the "we got it" response email. Also having problems trying to send a fax.

I've never seen it this bad. Any suggestions?

Keep good records of all dates and times! If the original submission was timely, the bank won't be accused of filing late.

I am new to submitting LARs...I received my Edit Report, and it was due March 10th. I faxed it in on March 9th.

Am I supposed to receive a notice that they received it and complete? The fax went through a week ago, but I have not seen or heard anything. Reading through the posts above, there may be a back log...? Do I just sit tight, and keep all my documentation that I sent my Edit Report in before the due date?

You should get a confirmation report from them. It has taken quite a while for some to get theirs back. Mine came back the next day. You may want to submit it again, just to be safe, or email it to them.
