Happy Friday!

We had a recent audit and they picked up on multiple transactions not being checked on a couple of the CTRs that we have filed. I could see what the auditor was saying but now I have had a follow up question come to mind and wonder how some of you may interpret it ....

A customer comes into the bank and makes a withdrawal from savings of 9000k and cashes a check for 2000k. Teller uses one cash out ticket. Would you consider that one transaction or two? Thanks so much for your thoughts!

Hi! I posted a question almost exactly like this a few months ago.

Response rec'd: One cash out ticket = one transaction.

While most banks may determine that this is one transaction, there is no specific correct answer.
