I know credit report fees for unmarried joint applicants was a hot topic and we changed our pricing in order for unmarried joint applicants to have the same pricing for married joint applicants.

How does this affect, say, parent/child or siblings who apply for a loan?

A creditor cannot disadvantage (their word for charge more) unmarried joint applicants (and my assumption is that parent/child - siblings, etc.) are unmarried to each other, therefore in all the cases you mentioned - unmarried joint applicants. .

Is there a citation within the regulation or guidance documentation for this?

Citation?

You cannot discriminate based on marital status.

Charging unmarried applicants more than married applicants for anything equates to discrimination based on marital status, unless properly supported through a business necessity argument.

Not sure how you can make that argument in this case?
