Oh, they had this "technology" years ago. Wasn't that car in the horror film "Christine" a '58 Plymouth?

I shouldn't bash Ford's. My hubby has a 1955 Ford F100, but I prefer to drive a Dodge. Had a pickup for years and traded that for a Dodge Durango. I still miss my truck. I felt 'big' and safe in it.

As soon as you hit 85, the Flux Capacitor will start "fluxing" and you'll be transported to 1955, or back to 1985. Or if it's the second one, to 2015.

Wait, aren't we supposed to have hoverboards by now?

I don't know, but there was a guy who tried to keep people from parking in front of his house by painting the curb red, but when he parked there, he got a ticket.

It's funny how BTTF 2 included flat-screen TVs in the future (2015) but no cell phones that I remember. And McFly had a bunch of fax machines. laugh

Ha! Seriously? Did he end up having to pay, or was he forced to repaint the curb, or what?

Why would you name a car "Smax"?

Would the fine for painting the curb be more expensive than the ticket? And would he request immunity when testifying at a hearing for a parking ticket? laugh

There's something going on with this thread. When I post in it, it is automatically added to my watched topics. confused

Me too. I've noticed that it did that on some others as well. Not every thread I post in but a few.

I don't know if he had to repaint the curb. He was ticketed for parking in a red zone. (It didn't matter that he painted it. It was red, and he parked there).

If you use the quick reply box it doesn't happen. But if you use reply in the line at the bottom of a post, be sure to uncheck the boxes in the post options section. I've notified admin of this problem. Guess fixing the stuff from the unsuccessful takeover has put some other stuff out of whack.

I always use the quick reply box and it added this thread as well as the Random Thoughts thread. Hmmm...

OK, maybe I quoted a previous post and that is why.

George Carlin had a whole skit on funny names, included who thought up the name Wang Computers just so they could see the stock reports each day that Wang was up and Wang was down.
