Does anyone know where I can find information from the Secret Service that informs bank's that they will not be responding to submitted counterfeit note reports?
Thanks,

The instructions on the SSF 1604 state the following:
3. Unless advised otherwise, the suspect note submitted to the Secret Service should be considered counterfeit. 4. The Secret Service will not return a copy of this form.
Yes, I did see that. I was looking for something from the Secret Service that I can keep with our note reports that stated that fact (like a newsletter or something else). Just in case anyone ask why we are not getting them back.

Once they stopped sending confirmations I asked them by phone and got a verbal response that if we do not hear from them then it was counterfeit. I just documented that in my file. I have nothing official from them in writing.

Well, that is their form so that information IS from the Secret Service.

I always make myself a copy of the form before I mail it off. If you do the same, that would be the documentation, that line on the form from the SS themselves.
