My 8-yr old boy has to have glasses. I'm kind of sad for him. I used to hate wearing glasses when I was his age. Oh well. Here's to a summer of broken and lost glasses. Try zenni.com for $6.95 prescription glasses. That way you can have a few different pairs for him, including a pair specific for sports. And they do have kid sizes!

Just got back from the dentist...I feel like I have drool coming from my mouth  Plus I wasn't hungry BEFORE my appointment but now I am starving. It may be a long afternoon.

If I hand you a document with a paper clip on it, return it to me with a paper clip on it! It doesn't even have to be the same paper clip, just replace what you removed and hand it back. What is so difficult to understand about that. And while I'm on a rant:
* clear the time on the microwave
* close the lid on the copy machine
* push in your chair in the break room
* clean up your dishes; don't just leave them in the sink
Gah!!

Gah!! If you miss the trash can, get your own rebound and put it in... Use the air freshner when you are done, shut the door and leave the vent running...  Clean up the table when you are done at lunch. Don't leave crums, salt, katsup, lettuce all over the table... Learn how to use a stapler...

I think I will start wearing jeans each day it snows. We have one employee who wears jeans when it snows because he has to drive in and jeans are warmer.
He has been told not to wear them or bring other pants but nothing happens when he doesn't. He has the mindset that he doesn't think the handbook applies to him because he is not customer facing.
Frustrating!

strange cold has sapped all my strength. Slept all day yesterday only awake long enough to eat lunch, supper and care for the dogs. less than 6 hours awake and less than 1 hour on my feet.
Feeling like I may have needed another day of rest but duty calls.

Verifin has started calling me from a UK based number. They tricked me into answering! Darn British sales people, but I will say, he was rather friendly and kept saying "brilliant" so that was a treat.

Just because it is snowing doesn't mean you have to drive 10 mph! We live in Iowa, we are used to driving in the snow! I can get road rage fairly easy
