Ever hear of a "barndominium"? The entire property (collateraal) encompasses a couple hundred acres including this barndominium.I'm trying to discern if it is considered a dwelling for Reg B and all the appraisal rules apply. Your insight is welcomed.
Here's the description from the appraisal: The subject property is improved with an all-steel barndominium which has two levels of finished
living area (the second level accessible only through the shop area) and a large shop area as well as
two large covered patio areas and a large wood deck. The lower level is considered to have a very
good quality interior finish-out with two bedrooms, three baths, a large kitchen

Yes, we have had a couple of these and we classify as a dwelling. We are located in Texas as well.
