I am taking the CRCM exam tomorrow. Any last minute advice from anyone? Needless to say I'm a nervous wreck! Also, how long does it take to get the scores? Thanks in advance and wish me luck!

Last minute advice? Relax. Breathe. Trust what you know.

It takes 4-6 weeks before you get your results.

Get a good nice rest.

Don't over think the questions.

If you're not confident on a question, move on. Many times, a later question triggered my memory on a previous question.

If you don't know an answer, cross the answers you know are not right. Increase your odds on guessing.

When you're all done, take the time to give the written feedback that will be at the end of the test. The CRCM board reviews all comments and will sometimes delete questions that were tricky or a number of test takers indicated is not a "good" question.

Thanks for the help! I was so mentally exhausted after the exam I didn't know my middle name haha. Now just to wait for the scores.....

2 1/2 weeks later... Does it really take a full 4 weeks for those scores? Has anyone taken it the last round to know what the most recent turn around time is??

They don't just score it. They also review comments made by the test-takers and trend analysis of wrong answers to determine if a question should be thrown out. If they throw out one or more questions, they then have to re-score against the new minimum and set the new passing score.

As far as I know it still takes 4-6 weeks to get your score.

I know it's hard, but try to distract yourself. Working on TRID should keep you busy enough and those last weeks will fly by.

JoshuaJames I'm so glad to hear someone else has taken it! I was hoping we would get our results sooner too. It is driving me insane waiting! How do you think you did? I honestly don't know. I felt like I did bad...but from what I've read everyone feels that way.

Waiting for my results too! I took it 2.5 weeks ago as well. Already going crazy! I feel like it is a total crapshoot though, I have no idea how I did! Gah

When I left I felt like I bombed it...but I was so mentally drained I almost cried from the relief of it being over...

Same here teeny- could have gone either way. Parts of it I was confident, then leaving I was second guessing- but cbo is right- I was very relieved to have it be over.... But now I'm back to worrying and wanting to know one way or the other!

It seemed very focused on securities to me, considering the number of questions versus the total amount. I found that an odd topic to emphasize... Although that could be because I'm weakest there that I noticed the number of questions.

The waiting was the toughest part! If it makes any of you recent testers feel better, I left the testing room, went to my hotel room, and burst into tears. I was completely convinced I'd failed. The feeling of failing combined with the emotion of the exam finally being over and knowing that the 6+ months of intense studying I did was finally done all came out in the form of an "ugly cry". I called my mom and she thought something terrible had happened! Four weeks later, I got my results that I'd passed! All those tears and I still passed!

That's awesome to know Busy Bee! I'm glad you passed...and also knowing that others had the same fear/relief that I did! JoshuaJames...I totally agree on the emphasis. I think the study course could be narrowed down a bit. I know that all of the topics are important, but I really put emphasis on items I was sure would be on there, and they weren't at all. But I also understand that as a CRCM we should be knowledgeable. I'm guessing we will get our results sometime next week. I've read a few other posts that said the results usually come in the afternoon (I have been trying really hard to get the date down to a science haha).

I haven't... I can't stand it. Luckily I'm too busy with everything else to think about it too much... except when I'm on here of course. Fingers crossed!

It took 4 weeks for me, but I tested in November of 2013. All I can say is, I have never felt the joy of opening that email and it saying "Congratulations!". Just relax, you'll get the email soon.

This Friday will be 4 weeks. I'm trying to rationalize in my mine and figure out what day and time I will get the email haha. From what I've seen, most people have received their scores in the afternoon. Do you remember So so?

Just got my results!!! wahoo!!!!

Been reading posts here for the last year and finally signed up for a username. I took the exam at a PSI center on March 24th and just got my exam results today as well. Was convinced I failed, but turns out I passed! Looking at the score summary it looks like they scored 198 questions and you needed a 71% to pass. Good luck to everyone!
