Jury finds Aaron guilty of murder in the first degree, life in prison without parole. Also guilty of weapon charges. To go from a $40M contract with the Patriots to life in Walpole prison, such a flippin waste. Man did he mess up bad.

The only waste was the life of the victim or victims

Let him rot

I was surprised it took the jury so long to come back. There was some speculation it may end in a mistrial.

I totally agree!!! And rot he will, for life (because we don't have the death penalty in MA). I meant what a waste of talent, he's an idiot! Where he's headed to prison, it's two miles from Gillette stadium...so if he ever gets outside time he'll probably hear the crowds at the game.

I know Sox, I was getting a little nervous when it was taking this long.

There was speculation that since a lot of the evidence was circumstantial it could be a hung jury.

Glad to see that he didn't get away with something based off of his status and influence. Seems like they really took their time on this one to get it right, and send a message to the rest of the league!

Some of the speculation was crazy.

He wasn't holding a glock in that security cam footage-it was a remote control...
His fiancé didn't know what was in the box that he asked her to throw away-which she tossed in a random dumpster...
They didn't go to the industrial park to kill him, just to scare him...

He is also going to be tried on a double murder in Boston a few years back.

Former NFL running back Lawrence Phillips is looking for a new roommate. Hernandez would be perfect for him.

I am glad that this trial is over. I am personally sick of seeing his face on MSN every day I look at the world news! Americans tax money was wasted giving this killer his fame by being on TV for weeks on end.

The taxpayers of Bristol County MA footed the bill. Americans outside of that jurisdiction did not pay for it.

Now they're saying maybe the defense attorney admitting in closing arguments that Hernandez was at the murder scene and witnessed the murder when no evidence had been entered to prove that may be a ploy to get the conviction overturned on appeal due to ineffective counsel.

Bottom line, the guy is a stone cold sociopath without an ounce of remorse and I believe with strong gang ties.

I had heard the argument that he was there at the scene, but didn't do the killing before today.

ESPN had a psychologist on one of there shows who watched the trial and said his opinion of Hernandez was that he was sociopath who demonstrated the characteristics of a cold hearted killer. And probably has done this many times before.

why post has nothing to do with the pat only the way that the NFL handles investigations and also include the jets investigation which should take about a half hour to decide.

If so, then why no mention of Ray Rice, sideline texting, dome noise pumping, Adrian Peterson, etc. Only the two issues associated with the Patriots. #nocredibility #patriothater

those items were already decided

Jets issue is look at the tape and decide (PS no determination on my part of guilt)

FWIW the deflatgate may end up being an issue with one of the NFL officials and not anyone on the Pats staff.

I personally think there should be an investigation on Chip Kelly. The moves he's making right now suggest that he's singlehandledly trying to destroy the Eagles franchise...

What I want investigated is the vast conspiracy that has successfully kept the Lions out of the Superbowl all these years. I think the ringleader in all this is the Patriots!!!
