One of our business lines' has a procedure stating flood insurance policies must include an endorsement requiring the insurer to notify the Bank at least 10 days prior to termination/reduction in coverage. The only requirement along those lines that I can identify is expiration/renewal notification requirement for NFIP/WYO carrier to notify insured and mortgagee at least 45 days prior to expiration of existing policy. Am I missing something or is the business trying to make up their own requirement?
