Patsgirl.....You don't sound silly at all. The parents of Jon Snow are still a mystery in the book. Your suggestion that he really is Robert's and Ned's sisters son is one of the many theories that are out there. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I read an interview where it said that before George R.R. Martin would allow his books to be turned into the series he asked the writers one question."Who are Jon Snow's parents?". However the writers answered must have been good enough for George R.R. Martin since we're now 5 seasons into the series.

Based on the amount of time the show has given to Jon's parentage, I would say we will never know for sure. Unfortunately the show has glossed over or flat out revealed the truth to certain mysteries. This is sad as pondering these unanswered questions was half the fun of the books.

I am so glad I put the thought out into the cyber world & apparently the writers of GoT have been perusing the BOL threads as this past episode gave a little more insight to Jon's parentage. Little FInger (why do they call him that?) referenced Ned's sister and the Targaryan guy .... Maybe he is Jon's dad. Then Queen of Dragon's would be Jon's aunt ... I think

That was good timing on the show's part. Ned's sister and the Targaryan guy are one theory on Jon's parents. I believe they call him Little Finger based on where he is from. Islands called the Fingers or something like that.

Yes - his father was the most minor of lords on the most minor island in the Fingers grouping.

Thoughts on what will happen to the murderous Lanister son and his sidekick(who has now been infected with dragonscale..)????

They will wander around aimlessly until the last 5 minutes of the last episode of the season and then Tyrion will arrive at the gates of Dany's palace and his sidekick will drop dead.

Other than Tommen, "murderous" and "Lanister" are sort of redundant. But I think Dany feeds Jorah to her children, and Tyrion convinces her that her real enemies are not at King's Landing, but north of the wall, causing her to join up with Stannis and the hot-blooded Melisandre.

But since that's the predictable outcome, I doubt it will happen.

Nothing is predicable with this series...that's why I like it! ha!

I'm really hoping that Jorah finds a way to stop the grayscale. Maybe he should go find Stannis and ask him who was able to stop the grayscale on his daughter.

If the series follows the books, I know what will happen. I know that Martin has let the directors take some liberties with changes so it will be interesting to see how they play it out.

What a way to end last nights episode. From reading the books I knew there was a chance the writers of the show would go that direction but I was really hoping it wasn't going to happen to Sansa.

I have read there has been a lot of outrage about what happened to Sansa. Honestly, with the other stuff that has happened, is what happened to Sansa that shocking? Jamie and Cersei are siblings and they have 3 children together. Jamie Lanister pushed Bran Stark off a ledge when he caught them in the act. Gilly's father fathered her child. Did the Red Wedding upset no one?

It's like people haven't been paying attention.

I have seen and heard a lot of front page type articles on this. Do people realize that this is just a TV show and real bad things are going on around the globe?

I admit that this scene was tough to watch but what did people expect to happen? Sansa was forced to marry Ramsey who we already knew was sick and twisted. Did people expect to Ramsey to change all of sudden to being a nice guy? Not saying I'm ok with what happened but it did make sense that would be how their wedding night would go.

Ramsey has Theon so brainwashed I think he's too afraid to try and do anything to save Sansa.
