Lots of great threads here but couldn't find an exact answer to my question. Bank A subject to VISA Zero liability requirements but will only provide provisional credit within 5 business days if the consumer has also provided written notice of dispute within the 5 biz day period - no provisional credit until the written notice is received by the bank. Do banks typically go in detail on account opening disclosures and state that disputes must be acknowledged by consumers in writing within 5 days or generally only state that oral disputes must be later accompanied by a written dispute?
